Many homes in Ranchi face a genuine dilemma: a ground-floor bedroom window that opens onto a street or a shared driveway needs a mosquito barrier at night, but it also needs some form of privacy screening during the day so occupants are not visible from outside. Buying and fitting two separate products, a plain mosquito mesh and then a separate privacy film or curtain, is expensive and often looks cluttered. The product is especially popular for windows facing common corridors in apartment complexes, ground-floor windows in independent houses along Ratu Road, Kanke Road and similar busy residential stretches, and bathroom or study windows where residents want daylight and airflow without being visible from outside.
The frame holds two independent mesh panels. The inner panel is a standard fibreglass or nylon insect mesh that keeps out mosquitoes, flies and dust. The outer or adjustable panel is a tighter-weave or coated privacy mesh that scatters the view from outside while remaining see-through from the inside during daylight hours. Both panels can be operated together or the privacy layer can be drawn back independently when you want a fully open view, for example in the evening once mosquitoes are the only concern.
We offer the privacy layer in a charcoal-tone micro-mesh or a frosted-effect coated mesh, both of which are UV-stable and will not discolour quickly under direct sun exposure. The insect mesh layer uses the same tear-resistant fibreglass mesh used across our standard window screens, so durability is not compromised by adding the second privacy layer.
The combo screen can be fitted in a fixed frame, a sliding track for windows that open sideways, or a simple hinged casement style for smaller windows.
