What Is an Invisible Grill?
An invisible grill is a safety barrier made from high-tensile stainless steel wire rope, stretched vertically across a balcony, window or staircase opening and anchored into a slim aluminium or steel frame. From a normal viewing distance the individual wires all but disappear, so the opening looks unobstructed - while the wire grid itself is strong enough to stop an adult from falling through and close enough spaced to stop a small child slipping past.
Unlike a traditional welded iron grill, an invisible grill does not turn your balcony into a cage. There is no visual barrier blocking your view, no bulky frame trapping heat, and no painted iron surface that will eventually rust in Ranchi's monsoon humidity. It is the safety upgrade most homeowners choose when they want real protection without giving up the open feel of their balcony.
SS304 - Standard Grade
Food-grade stainless steel wire rope suited to most residential balconies and windows up to the mid-rise floors. Handles Ranchi's normal humidity cycle without staining or weakening, and is the material we use for the large majority of home installations.
SS316 - Marine Grade
A higher-chromium, higher-molybdenum alloy with meaningfully better corrosion resistance, recommended for very high floors with constant wind-driven rain exposure, or for terraces and commercial installations that see heavier weather exposure year-round.

Why Choose Kushal Kraft
Our Own Workshop
Frames are fabricated in-house in Ranchi, not bought pre-made from a third party, so we control quality end to end.
No Subcontracted Labour
The technicians who visit your home are our own trained team, not day-hire labour - so the person quoting the job is accountable for installing it.
One Company, Many Services
We also handle mosquito nets, bird netting, aluminium fabrication and partition doors - useful if you want more than one balcony problem solved by a single visit.
Invisible Grill vs Traditional Iron Grill
| Feature | Invisible Grill | Traditional Iron Grill |
|---|---|---|
| View from balcony | Clear, unobstructed | Blocked by bars |
| Corrosion in Ranchi's monsoon | SS304/SS316 resist rust | Rusts within a few years without upkeep |
| Maintenance | Occasional wipe-down | Regular repainting needed |
| Wall/tile damage during install | Anchored into structural concrete only | Often requires more extensive drilling/welding |
| Visual appearance | Modern, near-invisible | Cage-like, dated look |
Caring for Your Invisible Grill
Monthly
A damp cloth wipe to clear surface dust - purely cosmetic, the wires work fine either way.
Quarterly
Wipe the frame with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive scrubbers on the powder coating.
Annually
Check for any wire that feels looser than the rest and call us for a free tension check.
