What Makes a Mosquito Net "Collapsible" or "Pleated"
A collapsible or pleated mosquito net uses a mesh panel that is permanently folded in a zig-zag, accordion pattern, held in place top and bottom by a slim track. Instead of a single flat panel sliding sideways on a rail, the pleated mesh compresses into a narrow stack when pushed to one end of the track, similar to how an accordion folds, and expands back out to cover the full opening when pulled across. This mechanism is what lets the same basic product adapt to very different openings: a narrow hinged window, a wide sliding balcony door, or an open-frame balcony railing that has no door at all.
